Got good results Wednesday on brain scan in Greenville. Tumors very small and swelling gone. No surgery! Yeehaw to AVastin brain chemo.
have been feeling bad last few days. Feels like it did a few years ago with jello legs and all over muscle pain. Hope all of you are well. Thanks for the continued prayers. you are well. Miss all of you.😇 🐱 🐹

Happy Thanksgiving

A quick update for you. Having some trouble with swelling around one of the brain tumors. Taking some meds and an additional chemo since Aug. MRI in Dec to check it. Next option is surgery. The meds have left me with weak legs and arms. No energy.Will send an update in Dec when I know more. Hope all of you are doing well.

Mom is doind good, had one tube removed last Wed and will have the other removed this Wed.
She has pain but not all the time.She is weak and is taking it slow.

    3 Month scans: Liver, heart, chest and bone scans all clear.

    Brain MRI: The tumor that came back 2 months ago is still there but is not growing.

Everything went good. The worst part was my back hurting from having to lay flat for so long on the radiation and MRI tables. Started having muscle spasms.

SCAN UPDATES.........

Scans all came back good-liver, bone, heart and chest scan (which checks lungs, thyroid, etc). Now just have to wait until mid July for brain scan to see if radiation worked.

I thought I understood when the radiation doctor said radiation to the head causes fatigue. I just had no idea it would be so bad.

Great news--- I went yesterday for
my weekly treatments and to get the results of the liver scan from last week.

My Brother John at the Walk. This is the balloon he made for the 'balloon release'.

My doctor increased the morphine patch dosage last week which seems to be doing the trick for the joint pain. Much better now.

Hi everyone. I know this update is long overdue. First the most important news is I had my second Cat Scan on May 21 which showed the largest tumor in the liver shrunk from 4.5 to 2.3. Great news.

Hi to everyone. Had my 7th chemo treatment on Wed April 18.
Have been pretty sick. Same stuff, mostly naseau. Lost another 10 pounds since chemo treatment 9 days ago. No appetite at all.

HAPPY EASTER !!

Hi everyone! I hope everbody had a nice easter. There is not much to update from my end other than I did not get as sick as I normally do on my last chemo treatment. It was a well needed break.

5th Chemo treatment was Wed March 7. I was out of work Mon, Tue and Wed following treatment. Same type of side effects as last time but not near as bad. The Doctor says this is pretty much how it is going to be.

Have felt pretty good this past week. Worked all last week. Chemo is Wed. We are praying that I don't get as sick as the last one.

Dr visit on Fri 2/24 went well. Dr Soble said as long as the tumors are shrinking I will stay on the Chemotherapy I am on now. Basically we look at the scan every three months and go from there.

Feb 15- Liver Cat Scan Results

I had the CT scan of the liver yesterday and the results show that the tumors are shrinking!! This is the news we were hoping for.

Just a quick update. Haven't felt good for two days now. Missed work Thur and Fri.

Dad drove us to my Dr. appt today in Boone. It snowed most of the day. White blood cell count was okay. Not feeling so great tonight. Just the normal things that come with chemo.

The last two weeks have been great. Feeling good. The only upate is that my hair is slowly starting to come out. Thank goodness I ordered the wig when I did. I am fixing to get a short pixie cut. My second chemo treatment is this week on Thursday. It is cold here. Wind chill tonight will be below zero. The temp is 11 right now. 1/2/12 10pm! It's been snowing on and off today.

Hope everyone had a Merry and Blessed Christmas! I have been feeling great this past week. The booster shots seemed to have raised the white blood cell count and that was the trick. Feeling much better.

Wed Dec 20

Feeling much better today. I hope it keeps up. Follow up appt with Dr Soble Thursday 10am. Blood work to check white cell coun to see if I need a booster shot. If everything okay we are hoping to head to the coast on Friday morning for Christmas.
