Hi to everyone. Had my 7th chemo treatment on Wed April 18.
Have been pretty sick. Same stuff, mostly naseau. Lost another 10 pounds since chemo treatment 9 days ago. No appetite at all.
Had to go to the Doctor today to get IV fluids. Have a rash on arms and feet. And the bladder infection came back again. It happened on the last two chemo treatments as well. Fun! The worse is no energy. So you put no energy and no appetite together and you get -- yuck. That's about how I feel. Mom has been getting on me about saying I feel good or fine when I don't. Someone will ask "How do you feel today?" And I will say 'Pretty Good'. Next chemo is May 9, and we meet with the Doctor. We should find out the date of my next CT scan(liver) which we are anxious to see the results. We are so hoping that the tumors continue to shrink.
On to better things.....like the Walkathon tomorrow. I can't wait to see all my work buddies. I miss them so much. The weather should be nice. I hope I feel better. My Brothers, Sister in Laws and Nephews should arrive tonight from the coast. And I have a few other friends in town. I hope the rain holds off tomorrow.
I continue to say thank you for all the cards and prayers and a special thank you to everyone involved in setting up the Walkathon. I am so fortunate to have such great and caring friends and family both near and far.
Jackie, I have never seen anyone as brave as you. I can't believe how good you handle this STUPID CANCER! Yes you are blessed with many friends and family. Keep the faith! GOD IS GOOD and you are going to whip this! With so many prayers going your way God will see you through this. Robert and I love you very much!
