Scans all came back good-liver, bone, heart and chest scan (which checks lungs, thyroid, etc). Now just have to wait until mid July for brain scan to see if radiation worked.
Mom and I returned from Tampa this week. We were gone 11 days. It was great to see relatives and friends. We had a great time and the "50th" birthday party was so much fun. (Except for turning 50 of course).
I didn't feel very good most of the trip, had some dizziness, headaches and nausea. Could be from tapering off the steroids, not sure.
The day before yesterday I had a really bad headache all night and day. Doctor says sometimes people have to stay on steroids long term to prevent headaches. I hope I am not one of those people. (Steroids are used to keep swelling down in the brain).
Was supposed to start on the new chemo today, but after we got there my temp was 101.4 so I couldn't have it. We will try again tomorrow. Doctor gave me some IV antibiotics and some antibiotic pills to start on.
Well, I guess that's it for now. I don't think I forgot anything. If I did I'll send an update as soon as I remember. I hope all of you are doing well. I miss you and wish you love, peace and joy as always!

Jackie I am so glad you were able to make the trip but I am so sorry you were sick some of the time. I wish I could take away your pain. It was wonderful having you and your mom for a week. We miss you both already. Sheri keeps me updated as well as your mom. Sheri and Susie both were so happy to see you and had such a good time with you and your mom. Love you so much. Keep the faith..God is good!
