TEMPERATURE 16 DEGREES
THIS IS MY YARD
Dad drove us to my Dr. appt today in Boone. It snowed most of the day. White blood cell count was okay. Not feeling so great tonight. Just the normal things that come with chemo.
Muscle aches, mouth sores, tummy troubles, sore throat, chills, rash. The worse part is not being able to sleep. Having no hair is the least of my problems ! The nurse told me today that each time I have a chemo treatment that it builds up in my system and people tend to feel worse later on. That I will need to have IV fluids along with the booster shot next time. I try not to talk to much about all this stuff because I don't want everyone to worry and feel sad. I want everyone to stay updated but not feel sad. Hopefully I will have the Cat Scan next month on the liver to check the progress and determine how many more treatments. I am supposed to start radiation in March if the Chemo shows signs of working. Next Chemo is Jan 26th.
Jackie, your courage and humility are amazing! Thanks you for the excellent example you set for others in facing adversity. You are a role model and my hero! :)
