CHEMO UPDATE......
Well, I wasn't able to have chemo Thursday. After taking my first new treatment on May 31, nausea has persisted.
Doc is trying everything.......Zofran, compazine, ativan, nexium and others. She also prescribed a nausea patch.
Doc really wants to get me back on my treatments. The last one I had was May 31. And it was not a full dose because we were trying the new TDM1 KADCYLA for the first time. So the next one we do will be a stronger dose. Can't really do anything till nausea is gone cause a stronger dose will for sure cause more nausea. It's a mess.
Doc is also concerned about my gall bladder so she sent me for an ultrasound yesterday to rule it out before starting chemo again.
I am happy to report that my legs , arms and muscles are much better. Also no headaches. Just waiting for brain scan next month.
I hope all of you are doing good. I think of you often and wished I felt better so I could talk on the phone more.
