Hi everyone. I hope all of you are doing well. Just a few updates.

Mom is doing really well after the masectomy. She has a ways to go to finish the reconstruction process.

As for me it seems there is always something. The brain tumor that won't go away after 3 gamma radiations is still there. And now the area has started to swell. The NEurologist put me on some meds to help reduce the swelling. I have a brain scan in Oct to check it. If the swelling is still there the doctor in Greenville will either add a new chemo to my current chemo or do surgery. The liver and bone scans were both clear.  As usual I continue to have low white blood counts caused by chemo. This makes my immune system at risk for infection.  Makes me very tire and weak. I have to get several shots when this happens.

The good news.... I'm still here.  I just keep on keepin on. So much for the 1 year prognosis.  It's been 4 years next month. I believe in miracles and the power of the Lord. I believe in friends and family and prayer. We recently lost 3 chemo patients where I go. I miss them but I know they are in a better place. My heart goes out to their families.
